Pacquiao Brings the Ring to Sarangani

November 23, 2009

World boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is now with Manny Villar’s Nacionalista Party. The rich boxer is hoping for a congressional seat, wherever one is available. Losing his own birthplace’s seat to incumbent South Cotabato Rep. Darlene Antonino-Custodio last election, he will gun for the congressional seat of the Sarangani. The Sarangani province is the birth place of his wife Jinkee. He will be illegible to run for that seat after successfully transferring his voter’s registration to the province and acquiring properties.

This is so very Manny Pacquiao anyway. Just like in the ring where he manages to use a practiced foot play, he is also set to use it in politics too. He had been trotting from and to parties. He was with the Liberal Party during the first attempt and he lost. He then transferred to the administration’s Lakas-Kampi-CMD. With the party favoring the Chiongbins of sarangani, he moved to the Nacionalista Party of Manny Villar where his intentions will be given priority.

How the heck did Manny Pacquiao earn a residency at Sarangani? Jinkee Pacquiao is a local of the province. Being married to the now real reach boxing icon, he is eligible to transfer his voter’s registration and he did. He also bought decent properties in the province, for show or for real.
